Rare set of seven(7) hanging lamps , pendants , in twisted pine wood (larch wood) by Swedish designer Hans- Jakobsson (1919-2009) and edited by AB Ellysett Markaryd between 1959 and 1969. In good condition for age. Made of many layers of bentwood turned into a “swirl”. These lampes have a delicate construction that it’s almost impossible to find any intact examples. When illuminated the thin wood casts a distinctly orange filtered light that reveals the wood’s natural grain and casts a warm and beautiful glow. Dimensions (2x) diameter 30cm x height 56cm (1000 Euros/piece) (4x) diameter 60cm x height 46cm (1500 Euros/piece) (1x) diameter 47cm x height 70cm (1500 Euros/piece) Sold per piece or as a set.
